On 30th September 2020, a new information board was unveiled at the Memorial at Tarrant Rushton. It gives visitors a glimpse into the history of the airfield including its connections with the Glider Pilot Regiment.

Our thanks to Nick Harding, the farmer on whose land the memorial sits; member Bob Seymour, who helped put the information together , got all the permission needed and built the board itself; Andrew Wright, who put together the artwork from his extensive archive and took the photographs (below)

There will be a working party formed with soldiers from the Blandford Garrison of the Royal Corps of Signals , RAFA and GPRS to help restore the stones and path around the memorial and then to maintain it.
